able to get it to boot using https://github.com/Mic92/nixos-aarch64-images CM3588 image with the following modifications:

partition 3 has the rootfs and boot contents

set FDT FDT ../nixos/3qb3b1azr7kgcm4lzglfc15y6p1z948p-linux-7.0.3-dtbs/rockchip/rk3588s-roc-pc.dtb remove all of the console lines from the APPEND line, the kernel find the consoles correctly on its own
